DANIEL MCCARTHY, NCI CHAIRMAN AND CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Since May 2002, Mr. McCarthy has served as NCI’s Chairman and CEO as well as the Chairman and CEO of its ultimate parent company, Gallarus Media Holdings (GMH), which was created in January 2005 to facilitate acquisition by Citigroup Venture Capital. Every month, NCI interacts with more than 3 million consumers on the web and more than 8 million consumers in print, driving more than 800,000 leads for more than 30,000 clients. NCI’s leading brands include Apartment Finder, The Real Estate Book, New England Home, Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles, Mountain Living and the DigitalSherpa line of marketing service products. As author of Dan McCarthy’s Viral Housing Fix, Dan closely tracks trends in the economy and shifts in how consumers use media and shop for products and services. Mr. McCarthy has lead NCI to become early adopters, deploying social media tools, like Facebook, Twitter and blogging platforms as internet marketing tools for small to medium sized businesses . In 2009, NCI introduced the first turn-key social media marketing service to the design and multi-family industries, providing content, tools and social media management services to clients.
ADAM JAPKO, PRESIDENT DIGITALSHERPA
Since joining NCI in May 2005, Mr. Japko has served as President of home design media. Mr. Japko lead the company’s DesignSherpa product launch, the first turnkey internet marketing system for the Home Design industry integrating a full suite of social media tools. As President of the Digital Sherpa suite of products, he is leading client development and a broad deployment of DigitalSherpa program lines for the company while remaining an active participant in the fine wine industry’s social media landscape as author of WineZag. From 1999 to 2005, Mr. Japko was President and Chief Operating Officer for Pennwell Corporation’s Advanced Technology Division.
STUART CHRISTIAN, OPERATIONS AND DIGITALSHERPA SYSTEMS
Since January 2004, Mr. Christian has served as Senior Vice President of Production Operations and Information Technology, responsible for the production of all NCI online and offline media as well as the information technology group. Mr. Christian joined NCI in 1991. He has created and now leads the fast growing team and backbone infrastructure that supports and maintains all DigitalSherpa systems, product lines, and clients.
GERARD PARKER, DIRECTOR AND CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Since joining NCI in 2002, Mr. Parker has served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer and as a director of GMH since January 2005. From 1994 to 2002, Mr. Parker was Vice President and CFO of Primedia’s Consumer Guides division.
